I am beginning work on a new 2D animation portfolio to take with me to Burbank, CA. Times are really bad right now, and I have been going through a 2 year post college depression. I have written out a mini schedule for myself to follow for the next couple months, and I hope this will give me the kind of work that can start to change my life and career plans. I am tired of feeling sorry for myself. I am tired of crying the blues over student loans going to waste. I am tired of bussing tables when I have a Bachelor's Degree in Animation. I WANT TO ANIMATE!!! Like a phoenix I will rise from the ashes!!! Ok... a little dramatic, but I needed the pep talk.
What got me back on track? Disney and my friend Nicole. Disney is going back to what I used to love most about them... their 2D animated movies! They are releasing a movie titled : The Princess and the Frog. I found hope in a world obsessed with 3D. I can still do what I love!!
Nicole is a dear friend who I don't get to see very often, but I love her anyway! She makes me feel like I can do anything in a minute, even when I have beaten myself up for years saying I can't. Love ya Nicole!!
